Created in 2009, TAYO immediately became the premiere resource for Filipinos to showcase their work. Our reputation as a haven for high-quality writing is due to a thriving community of Filipino artists.

We invite you to join the TAYO Writers Lab, TAYO’s official home for artists who are looking to network with others for feedback, writing partners, or simply to share thelove of their craft.

Our diverse group includes novelists, poets, playwrights, screenwriters, and spokenword artists. We meet every month during the weekends in Los Angeles and look forward to seeing you at a future TWL session.

TAYO Literary Magazine is an annual arts and literary journal published by TAYO Arts and Culture, a nonprofit community arts organization whose mission is to advance the understanding of the diverse cultural identity of Filipino Americans. With its annual print magazine and bi-monthly online component, along with TAYO readings and events, TAYO Arts and Culture is dedicated to the creation, cultivation and promotion of Filipino-American arts and culture.
